RA Honored Coach Vardan Harutyunyan died at the age of 68, the Facebook page of the FSB reports.
"We express deeply sad that one of the best coaches of Armenian boxing, Honored Coach of the Armenian Boxing, left the age of 68.
He has been working for many years in various sports companies for many years, has prepared numerous title-holding boxers who have a great honor to bring Armenia and Armenian sports. His students have become the winner and prize winner of the USSR champion and prize-winner of the European Championships.
The Armenian Boxing Federation shares the pain of loss, proving that her death is a loss not only for its relatives and students, but for the world of all Armenian boxing.
Vardan Harutyunyan's funeral will take place on March 30 at 17.00-20.00 in "Eternity" mourning hall (Ezras Hasratyan 9), "the statement said.
