The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated in an interview with RT that Russia will give a mirror response to the sanctions and pressures of the White House on this TV channel and other Russian media.
"Measures will be directed to the American media, American journalists, so that they understand what bullying towards colleagues is," he said.
According to him, this will be done "so that they think about what they live in and what evil they serve". Zakharova also stated that the sanctions applied by the USA against the Russian media have gone beyond the limits, Washington has declared war on the freedom of speech.
According to Zakharova, the USA "attacks" including journalists under fictitious pretexts. Their personal safety is now at risk, he added.
