Doctor of Political Sciences, historian Armen Ayvazyan writes on his Facebook page.
"A few hours ago, the Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump were reported in the White House, in particular: "Both leaders agreed that Iran should never have the ability to destroy Israel."
Unfortunately, neither Putin, not Trump, nor any other major power he has ever said that "Azerbaijan and Turkey should never have the ability to destroy Armenia."
This is nothing but an open manifestation of double standards in international politics. It becomes clear that Israel is closer and closer to Russia than Armenia or Iran, which are both formally strategic allies of Russia. At the same time, Israel has the ability to destroy Iran, as it is fluent in nuclear weapons.
In fact, this agreement means that Russia and the United States are against Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.
As for the United States, Israel has long been not only a strategic ally for her, but it can be said in the 51st state. All this once again shows that the guarantor of our security, first of all, must be our own strength.
Therefore, we need to speak out in the international arena, let us explain, explain and substantiate that important truth, in parallel, to develop our own abilities to curb enemies. Only then can we hope that one day the powerful of the world will be announced.
