There are no discussions or agreements on the transition to the Republic of Armenia in the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan stated this at a sitting of the Standing Parliamentary Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration.
"Our agenda is to diversify the economy. At least as much as possible. Diversification is not directed against the EEU. Our goal is not to replace the dependence on the other.
At the same time, whether it imports or exports, "said the Minister Pappoyan, the RA issue is equal cooperation with both EEU member states and the EU, the Middle East, East Asia and the United States.
He noted that he intends to discuss the expansion of trade and economic relations with the Russian Federation in Moscow.
