In the future, Turkey and Armenia will be able to cooperate in 3rd countries. The Prime Minister answered TRT World's question

Turkish TRT World Representative Yusuf Erim has spoken about the normalization of Armenians living in the Diaspora and Turkey living abroad.

You mentioned that Turkey and Armenia were previously communicated through a third party, but now you speak directly without intermediaries. Do you think that in the future Turkey and Armenia will be able to cooperate in third countries, in particular, as long as you expect the settlement to open, be the opening of the border, or other treatments as a means of strengthening confidence. In particular, I would like to ask about Syria. Many Armenians live in Syria, Turkey has a great influence in Syria. Is this a field where you can see the opportunity to cooperate with Turkey so that you can make relevant help in Syria, or Lebanon, another country where Turkey has an impact? Or collaborate on other international issues as long as you are waiting for the formalization of a bilateral settlement in the form of a document.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan answered the question addressed to him.

"You know, we have very specific facts of cooperation in the international arena. And I think it is obvious that we had a very specific example of cooperation in the OSCE Secretary General's elections. And this is a good example of which shows that the question you raised by the future today is already a reality.

As for third countries, there is, of course, we are definitely limited to the sovereignty of those third countries and, of course, we are talking about interfering in third countries.

But, of course, we are interested in the same Syria, from which, unfortunately, some worrisks began to come again, how can we cooperate? And there is also such a conversation between Armenia and Turkey, but it is not a very extensive conversation, but yes, that's the agenda, I also say, respecting the sovereignty of all countries, territorial integrity, their jurisdiction. In other words, our perceptions are like that.

And yes, obviously, we have an Armenian community in Syria, with the fate we are worried. Unfortunately, due to the events of recent years, many have had to leave Syria. But even today there is an Armenian community there, and we have an Armenian community in Lebanon, and we are making efforts to see what we can do for our communities in those countries, what is in our access range. And in particular, we have had specific discussions and conversations with Turkey in those directions, and if nothing hinds us, we will have concrete manifestations of cooperation. "
