The government rejected the proposal to cancel the income declaration system of individuals

On March 13, the government gave a negative conclusion to the "Hayastan" opposition faction's proposal to undo the system of income declaration. This conclusion was included in the government, unreactioned issues.

According to the government, this proposal is fundamentally unacceptable.

"The project does not stem from the government's 2021-2026 policy, within the framework of which it is planned to introduce the effective system of income declaration of individuals.

This change will also contribute to the introduction of the widely used social credits system, "the government's decision said.

According to the opposition, the universal declaration system of individuals income is premature, in terms of achieving its goal, incomplete and inadequate.

In addition, according to the opposition, it will turn to the citizens to the source of new and unnecessary administration, meaningless obligations and fines.

The "Armenia" faction also claims that this system will become a meaningless and inefficient process for double or triple collection of information already available to the state.

In addition, it is emphasized that there are a number of unresolved technical and substantive issues that indicate that the tax authorities are not ready to accept and develop declarations.
