EU countries must find ways to help Kiev approach Kiev after the suspension of US military assistance and after the conflict in the White House. Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky expressed such an opinion.
"We must continue to cooperate with the United States during the discussion of European security issues and, probably we must find a way to bring Ukraine and the United States closer," said the Minister quotes Reuters.
The head of the Czech diplomacy also stated that Ukraine must be present at the negotiation table for a peaceful settlement.
Earlier, USA President Donald Trump told Congress that he received a "important letter" from Vladimir Zelensky on Tuesday.
Zelensky said on social networks that he and his team "ready to work under the strong leadership of President Trump to achieve steady peace." He also expressed regret for what happened during the meeting with Trump, but did not apologize to the US President.
