The EU leaders will discuss European security guarantees for Ukraine and sovereign protection at the March 6 Emergency Summit. This was stated by the head of the European Council Antonio Costa with an open letter, published by his press service.
Participants will review "European protection", aiming to "make decisions in the short term so that Europe will become more efficient and more prepared to respond to the current and future security challenges," said Costa.
"The EU must be ready to contribute to the future guarantees of Ukraine's security, which are necessary to ensure long-term peace," he said.
