Spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov has not received information about the possibility of peace in Ukraine this week with the statements of the American leader Donald Trump, waiting for clarifications from the White House.
"In this case, I think there will be some clarification in Washington from my partner, I have no such information yet," he told reporters, answering the relevant question.
Earlier, White House Spokesman Caroline Levit said that Trump was convinced that an agreement on the suspension of the conflict in Ukraine could be reached "this week."
