The need for a boycott in Armenia has never been so obvious: Sona Aghekyan

The Facebook post of Sona Aghekyan, a member of the "Mother Armenia" alliance. "Boycott is not a shame, it is a self-defense mechanism and a powerful means of social struggle

A boycott allows people to avoid being part of the looting and injustice by showing that they are not ready to financially support decisions thatwhich do not derive from their interests or hurt the socially disadvantaged classes.

The need for a boycott in Armenia has never been so obvious, especially when the 2.5-unit municipal government is trying to enrich itself at the expense of vulnerable classes.

The increase in transport fares is a vivid example.when they try to impose an additional financial burden on ordinary citizens without proper calculations and without a justified approach.

The fight against the increase in transport fares, the boycott continues.

We should not give in to the thought of "what can we change", as history has shown, that organized and united boycotts have a great effect. When people reject unfair payments, overcharges, or questionable service, they force decision makers to rethink their policies.

Boycott is a way to disagree, not to become looting material and to protect one's own interests.there is no need to be ashamed, let those who want to get rich with the poor money of socially vulnerable people be ashamed.

It should never be forgotten that social development and the outcome of the struggle, in this case, the boycott, is determined by the civil position. People should use the boycott mechanism more confidently to showthat they are not vulnerable targets, but demanding and conscious members of society.

So, as long as there are injustices, unjustified price increases, exploitation attempts, the boycott is the weapon with which to fight.
Shame on those who try to get rich off people's last penny, not those whowho consciously refuse to participate in that game.

"Mother Armenia" continues to support the boycotting citizens and urges everyone to boycott, the outcome of the struggle depends on each one's active boycott."
