The broadcasting of political programs on television has been banned in Afghanistan

The Ministry of Information and Culture of Afghanistan has banned the broadcasting of political or economic discussions on television.

This was reported by the Afghan journalism center. According to the organization, during the meeting of the media staff and the representatives of the Ministry of Information and Culture, the latter ordered oral to stop broadcasting any political content on television.

The ministry's instructions stipulate that television journalists will be able to communicate only with representatives of the current administration. The Armenian has also spread to economic discussions, which "challenges the current government."

Restrictions also refer to private and independent TV channels. The Ministry of Leography and Culture also informed that concrete details of the implementation of this Directive will be clarified until February 17.
