On February 13, the Armenian Ambassador to Germany, Victor Yengibaryan, was received by the President of the Landtag (Parliament) of Bavaria, Ilse Aigner (CSU).

“The Ambassador was accompanied to the meeting by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Bavaria, Christine Sassen. The prospects for strengthening cooperation between Armenia and Bavaria were discussed. Reference was made to the areas of mutual interest: tourism, agriculture, information technologies, education, culture, and opportunities for cooperation.
The Armenian Ambassador presented the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative and the investment attractiveness of Armenia in that context. The activation of cooperation between the parliaments of Bavaria and Armenia was emphasized.
Ambassador Yengibaryan expressed his support for the attempted murder in Munich this morning, in which a car was driven into a crowd of people, and stated that we stand firmly with the people of Germany,” the statement said.
