“Different pains have mixed together,
Turning my soul into a flood of sorrow.
I am looking for you, Just Judge,
To put a bandage on my wounds.
Sharpen the dagger of punishment without a murmur,
Let the lips of the traitor tremble,
And the shadows of souls torn from the lifeless bodies of the martyrs
glow.
Take revenge for dishonor.
Stretch your muscles. Stand firm.
Weave your songs of victory from lamentation.
There will be light. Rejoice, Armenia.
