Producer, public figure Ruben Mkhitaryan has decided to run as a candidate for mayor of Gyumri.
“The main problem of Gyumri and Armenia is a phenomenon called nicholism, and it is a person who lives in one of the government summer houses in Yerevan. It is this realization that has forced me to make another turning point in my life. I will run as a candidate for mayor of Gyumri. I do not consider the other candidates for mayor to be my enemies, but my position is clear: the current authorities should not succeed in the Gyumri elections,” he said in a video posted on his Facebook page.
