Israeli troops are conducting raids in a number of settlements in the West Bank, accompanied by the arrests of Palestinians. This is reported by the Qatari Al Jazeera television channel.
Special operations are underway in the towns of Al-Bireh and Beituniya near Ramallah, in Bidya, west of Salfit, in several areas of Jerusalem, as well as in the Tulkarm refugee camp, where Palestinian resistance units exchanged fire with Israeli forces.
In Jenin, the IDF is using heavy military equipment and bulldozers to destroy the city's infrastructure.
Three Palestinians were arrested during Israeli military operations in the town of Jaba, south of Jenin. Earlier, the Israeli military said that the ongoing operations in the West Bank are aimed at armed Palestinian militants.
