Large-scale pro-Palestinian protests started on Saturday in more than forty cities in Spain, including the capital Madrid, and demonstrations will last until Monday.
On Saturday, rallies took place in about twenty cities in the kingdom, most of them at six o'clock in the evening (19.00 Moscow time), including in Madrid, as well as in Girona, Granada, Pamplona, Alicante, Cadiz, Santander, Arrecife and Murcia.
The demonstration in Madrid, which was attended by several thousand people, began next to the Atocha train station, the historical symbol of the city, from where the gathered people went towards one of the central squares, Sol, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
