During 2024, 6 sessions of the disciplinary commission were convened at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during which 40 materials of internal investigations conducted on 45 police officers were discussed.
As a result of the discussions, disciplinary penalties were applied to 43 police officers by orders of the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Chief of Police - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
In particular, 3 officers were given a "reprimand", 3 officers were given a "severe reprimand", and 37 officers were dismissed from service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In addition, the internal investigation conducted against 1 officer was terminated, and the discussion of the materials of the internal investigation conducted against 1 officer and the conclusion drawn up based on its results was postponed. This was reported by the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs regularly presents the results of internal investigations to the disciplinary commission. The publicity of the self-cleaning process is one of the principles adopted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
