The ZCMK employees who have declared a strike are preparing to hold a protest action in front of the plant today at 12 noon.
“The employer is trying to suppress this labor movement, which is aimed at achieving social justice, with all the means at its disposal.
We can say that it seems like the wheel is moving,” said Vahe Mkhitaryan, a member of the coordinating council, on his page on the social network.
He noted that a representative of the Human Rights Defender’s Office met with them, a meeting is planned with the President of the Confederation of Trade Unions and his deputies, and there are proposals from the NA representative to discuss the issue and find a dignified solution.
According to Mkhitaryan, today at 12 noon the determination and perseverance of the employees must be reaffirmed to find a dignified solution to this labor dispute.
"We all realize that first of all, the working people, the state, and social partnership suffer losses. As you know from the published report, several of our colleagues have been dismissed.
None of the members of the Coordinating Council signed the dismissal order, we are all employees of the ZCMC," said Mkhitaryan.
