In the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Hamas group handed over the Red Cross to three Israeli hostages, according to The Times of Israel. The Israeli Defense Army said that the released citizens arrived in the Israeli army.
All three looked "thin, miserable and pale", the report said.
One of the Hamas militants announced their release, after which two representatives of the Red Cross signed the relevant documents.
"According to the information provided by the Red Cross, three hostages were handed over to them, and they took direction to Israeli defense forces in the Gaza Strip," the army said in a statement.
