The US unions have filed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump and his administration for the steps taken to dismantle USID. The lawsuit filed in the Court Court of NBC News reports that USAID dissolution actions are "unconstitutional and illegal" and that the American leader has "exceeded his presidential powers."
It is noted that only Congress can eliminate the agency or decide to unite it to the US State Department.
The consequences of the decision of the Washington administration have already become catastrophic, causing a "global humanitarian crisis, interrupting the important work of USAID staff, granters and contractors."
