In Japan, a 26-year-old woman and her 52-year-old father were arrested for torturing a three-year-old boy. As Euromedia24 reports, NHK writes about this.
The incident took place in Hiroshima. As the investigation found out, in September of last year, the grandfather closed his grandson's mouth with tape, wrapped the boy's hands and feet and kept him in a cardboard box.
In January, the mother and grandfather brought the child to the hospital in a state of exhaustion. He was already in a coma.
The police suspect that the boy was subjected to systematic violence. Both the mother and the grandfather have already admitted their guilt.
