The police tried again to storm the South Korean president's office

The police have again arrived at the office of the President of the Republic of Korea to conduct a search there in connection with the rebellion case related to the martial law cases. This is reported by Yonhap agency.

Law enforcement agencies are also trying to search President Yun Seok-yeol's "safe house" in Samcheon-dong district.

On January 15, the president was arrested at his residence in Hannam-dong. In particular, the police are interested in the video surveillance recordings in the "secret house", which will help to find out who communicated with the president before and after declaring martial law on December 3. On January 19, the president was arrested in the case of rebellion.

On December 11, the police arrived at the administration to conduct a search. However, the presidential security service, citing laws and precedents, did not allow searches in areas protected by state or military secrets.

Instead, the administration voluntarily provided an "extremely limited number" of documents. On December 12, the police again arrived at the administration to obtain additional documents.
