On the matter of Ukraine, Germany takes decisions that do not contribute to the aggravation of relations between Russia and NATO, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated during the traditional summer press conference."All our [i.e. Germany’s] decisions are considered and taken in such a way that the conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine does not grow into a war between Russia and NATO," Scholz said.Also, the German chancellor emphasized that Berlin will continue to support Ukraine, but noted that he does not rule out Russia's participation in the next conference on Ukraine.Scholz had said Wednesday that the German authorities will not send Bundeswehr soldiers to Ukraine.
