The Sports Arbitration Court of Lausanne (CAS) rejected the application of "Lokomotiv Yerevan" FC, obliging the club to pay compensation for the expenses incurred by the FFA.
"Lokomotiv Yerevan" football club appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne with a request to invalidate the decision of the FFA assembly to expel the latter from FFA membership.
It should be noted that "Lokomotiv Yerevan" FC was expelled by the decision of the 22nd Regular Meeting of the FFA held on June 28, 2022, on the basis of a gross violation of the FFA Statute.
On November 26, 2024, CAS rejected the application and, as a result, obliged "Lokomotiv Yerevan" FC to pay 2,000 Swiss francs as compensation for the expenses incurred by FFA.
