Nikol Pashinyan boasts that 20% more people came to Armenia by air from January 1-6 than last year.
Mesrop Arakelyan, co-founder of the "Aprelu Yerkir" party, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
"This is a typical example of how Nikol Pashinyan is not aware of what is happening in the country.
Some Armenians welcome the New Year abroad, leaving Armenia in the last days of December and returning in the first days of January.
In other words, this year more people spent the New Year outside of Armenia."
