The President of Turkey expressed hope that a peace agreement will be signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan soon


During the press conference following the NATO summit, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also touched on Armenia-Azerbaijan relations. According to "Armenpress", this was mentioned in the publication of the Turkish "Anadolu" news agency. Asked at the press conference whether it is possible to sign a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan by the end of this year, Erdogan answered that the decision should be made by the president of Azerbaijan. "We want it to be signed and peace reign between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In our meetings with the Prime Minister of Armenia, we see that positive steps have been taken here as well," he noted, emphasizing that during the meetings with the President of Azerbaijan, the latter also expressed his support for positive steps to be taken.
