The prime minister of Slovakia threatened Ukraine with a serious conflict

The Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fizo, threatened Ukraine with a serious conflict if Kiev does not allow transit of gas intended for Bratislava through its territory to Europe.

"If Zelensky does not release our gas, a serious conflict may arise," Fizo wrote on his Facebook page on Friday.

He noted that Slovakia provides assistance to Ukraine and hopes for the same attitude of Kyiv towards Bratislava. According to Fitzo, this should not be one-sided.

Fizo said earlier that Zelensky excludes the possibility of gas transit through Ukraine next year.

The current agreement on the transit of Russian gas through the territory of Ukraine to Europe expires at the end of the year. The authorities of Ukraine have repeatedly stated that they do not plan to extend it.
