At the car assembly station, VP and SH did not actually check the car, they limited themselves only to performing formal actions, as a result of which no faults were found and the march was allowed, as a result of which the car ended up in the valley due to a technical fault. He died as a result of the accident. 4 servicemen, 18 servicemen received physical injuries of various degrees.
The supervising prosecutor initiated a public criminal prosecution against a mandatory conscript soldier of the military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense, the head of the technical unit of the military unit, the head of the automotive service, the 2 commanders of the rifle battalion of the military unit, under part 4 of Article 538 of the Criminal Code (violation of the rules for driving or operating cars) and the military unit. against the supervisor-chief of the technical part, according to Article 538 of the Criminal Code Part 4 and part 1 of Article 445 (official forgery).
On December 16, 2024, the criminal investigation was completed and an indictment was sent to the military prosecutor's office of the Syunik garrison.
