South Korea is imposing sanctions on 11 individuals and 15 legal entities that Seoul says are linked to "illegal military cooperation" between the Russian Federation and the DPRK, or Pyongyang's nuclear missile program.

On December 16, the foreign ministers of Australia, Great Britain, Italy, Canada, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, France, Germany, the USA, Japan and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs condemned Russia and the DPRK in "strong terms" .
