Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has stated that the death penalty against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for alleged war crimes is legally possible.
This was announced by the PressTV channel, referring to the official website of the supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei.
"We should try to understand whether it is possible to form a court composed of two or three like-minded countries supporting the Palestinian people," Gharibabadi emphasized.
On November 21, the ICC announced that it had issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant from October 8, 2023, to May 20, 2024, for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Palestinian Territory.
