The National Police of Spain suspended the activities of a criminal group that carried out a large fraud with the help of a financial pyramid. This was mentioned in the press release of the law enforcement agencies. According to their information, the suspects, who offered the victims investment products with a high level of profitability, were able to make 40-70 million euros of fraud. Nine people were arrested in Spain. The fraudsters used a complex corporate structure made up of 21 companies registered in the Iberian Peninsula, the UK and the US, as well as a wide network of offices in Spanish regions to market their products. In the wake of the investigation, the guardians of the legal system blocked many bank accounts of the suspects and seized nine real estate objects.
