The judicial authority has given new details of the judgment regarding the former Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia Andranik Piloyan and others.

Today, the Anti-Corruption Court, presided over by Judge Tigran Davtyan, published the verdict in the case of former Minister of Emergency Situations Andranik Sureni Piloyan and others, according to which Andranik Piloyan, who is accused of receiving large bribes from a group of officials, committing fraud with prior consent from a group of people, as well as for abuse of official position, final punishments were imposed: imprisonment for 5 years for a period of time, a fine of AMD 1,300,000, a certain deprivation of the right to hold public service positions for a period of 3 years.

After the verdict enters into legal force, it is planned to confiscate 860,000 AMD from Andranik Piloyan in favor of Armenia.

Artak Beybutyan, Vigen Grigoryan, Artur Ohanyan, Vigen Mkrtchyan, Hrachya Yeremyan and Ashot Hakobyan were found guilty within the framework of the same verdict. And Ara Yaghjian was acquitted. For the latter, the punishments are planned accordingly: Vigen Grigoryan: 8 years imprisonment, Artak Beibyutyan: 1 year imprisonment, which was not suspended, Vigen Mkrtchyan: a fine of 300,000 AMD, 2 years imprisonment, which not applied conditionally, Hrachya Yeremyan: fine: 500,000 RA Ashot Hakobyan: a fine of AMD 1,000,000. The verdict can be appealed to the RA Appellate Anti-Corruption Court within one month from the date of receipt.
