They are confiscating the money of Artsakh residents. 168: a.m

168.am writes: The people of Artsakh hoped that through the Constitutional Court they could get access to their accumulated pension accounts, manage the money in those accounts and use them for at least a partial solution to the many social problems they faced after their forced displacement. However, the Constitutional Court once again showed its loyalty to the current political power. rejected the application of the deputies of the National Assembly regarding the legislative change related to the accumulated pension funds of Artsakh citizens.

With that, in fact, the CC, hand in hand with the political power, completed the process of blocking or confiscating the cumulative pension amounts of Artsakh citizens.

Let's remind that in June of this year, the CP political majority of the National Assembly decided, without asking the people of Artsakh, to transfer their accumulated pension money to the accumulation system of Armenia, which no one had given them the right to do.

With that, the people of Artsakh were deprived of the opportunity to manage and use their funds in the created force majeure situation. Although it is difficult to even imagine what else it would take for people to be able to dispose of their accumulated funds ahead of time, which they need today, more than ever.

Or do the authorities think that they have provided so much help and assistance to these people that there is no need to dispose of the accumulated pension money prematurely? Probably for this reason, they have decided to gradually reduce the amount of aid from next year, to review the program of 40+10 thousand drams.

Many people of Artsakh, who rely on these funds, somehow manage to cover their apartment rents and utility costs with these funds, will be deprived of such an opportunity. The government has decided that the amount of help they received is enough. From April, not everyone will receive AMD 40,000, but those under 18 years of age and pensioners, as well as disabled people of the first and second groups.

From June of next year, the amount of assistance provided will decrease by another 10,000 drams and will amount to only 30,000 drams by December. After one year, they will probably cancel this too. The government is now providing people to comply with it. For this reason, he started gradually reducing the amount of assistance. Although many people of Artsakh somehow protect their existence with aid money.

Not being able to survive, many of them are forced to leave. While the authorities consider that it is enough, they reduce the 50-thousand drams of aid they provided, during this time, tens of thousands of Artsakh residents have already left Armenia.

After the aid cut, the number of people leaving will be much higher. They are doing everything to get people to emigrate. Allegedly, they are implementing a program to provide housing, but they failed the program before it started. They set such conditions that people avoid coming near. It has been several months since the program was launched. It seems that there should be no room or pause for those applying now.

But there are very few applicants. Few are ready to accept the conditions they impose.

The most important of them, perhaps, is the renunciation of Artsakh citizenship. People do not want to lose the last hope of returning to their homes. The amount of money is also not a small obstacle, with which even in rural areas it is difficult to buy a more or less suitable apartment for living.

That's not enough, they create artificial difficulties for those who want to use the housing program. Those who intend to invest these funds to buy an apartment with a mortgage, are delaying the process in order to deprive themselves of the possibility of income tax refund. Today, many Artsakh families in Armenia are facing serious social difficulties.

Those difficulties will deepen already next year, when many will be deprived of receiving financial assistance.

The authorities deprived these people of their homes and places, and now they are depriving them of the opportunity to live in Armenia. They announced that we will spare nothing for "our brothers and sisters" who were forcibly moved from Artsakh, we will do everything to make them stay and settle in Armenia, but as we can see, they are promoting something else so that they emigrate.

They don't even want to direct the budget money previously provided to the people of Artsakh to their social assistance. Recently, at the government meeting, it was announced that 75 billion drams of aid have been provided to the people of Artsakh during this period. Those who do not know may have the impression that the authorities were too generous towards the people of Artsakh.

But it is not so. This is almost twice less than the amount that was previously provided to Artsakh in the form of a budget loan every year. We still do not say what happened to the money that came from abroad to help the people of Artsakh. We are talking about millions of dollars.

Let's imagine that at the end of last year they reached 100 million dollars. Then they continued to receive money from different countries and international organizations. It is not known what happened to those funds. The authorities have not talked about them for a long time. The funds have been included in the budget and they represent that the provided assistance is a manifestation of the government's willingness and care towards "our brothers and sisters" from Artsakh.

And for that, they should be grateful to themselves for supporting for so long. Every time they turn their backs, they threaten to deprive them of social programs, they intimidate them so that they don't get involved in the internal political processes of Armenia, they initiate fake criminal cases, arrest them, take them to jail.

People have been deprived of their land and water, house and place, they give a few thousand drams of aid, they think they are doing a great job. One more thing: they expect thanks, they wonder why they complain, why they complain.

They want to come to terms with the disaster that they have brought upon these people.
