Gabriel Djemberji was not arrested. the court rejected the motion

On Saturday, the Anti-Corruption Committee detained and then arrested Diaspora Armenian businessman, longtime friend of Serzh Sargsyan's brother, Levon Sargsyan, and now a regular customer and donor of Anna Hakobyan's gatherings, Gabriel Djemberjian.

The anti-corruption investigators accuse him of money laundering and submitted a petition for arrest to the court.

of MediaHubaccording to reports, the court did not satisfy the petition and Djemberjian was released. The Anti-Corruption Committee did not comment on this information.

We also called Mr. Jemberji, but he left our calls unanswered. Let's remind that Jemberji recently participated in the meeting of "Successful Men" organized by Anna Hakobyan.

And although the court did not satisfy the request of the pre-investigative body to take him into custody, even after participating in the event invited by Anna Hakobyan and "contributing" to her fund, Jemberji did not avoid being in the spotlight of the law enforcement agencies on charges of money laundering. In fact, Anna Hakobyan accepted a donation with supposedly "laundered" money from a Diaspora Armenian philanthropist.
