Earthquake in Armenia

On December 9 of this year at 00:15 local time (on December 8 at 20:15 GMT) the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia recorded 40.07⁰ north latitude and 44.80 east longitude. ⁰ geographical coordinates 9 km southeast of the village of Garni in Armenia, at a depth of 10 km from the hearth 1.9 magnitude earthquake.

The strength of the underground shock in the epicentral zone was 2-3 points.

The earthquake was felt in the city of Yerevan and in the villages of Garni and Goght in the Kotayk region, with a magnitude of 2-3.
