The meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and French President Emmanuel Macron and newly elected US President Donald Trump took place in Paris. This is reported by RBC.
As the spokesman of the President of Ukraine Sergey Nikiforov said, the politicians talked for 35 minutes. The President of Ukraine called the meeting with his American and French counterparts productive.
He wrote about this in his Telegram channel. According to Zelensky, the topic of the negotiations was the conflict between Kiev and Moscow.
"President Trump, as always, is determined. Thank you for that. Also thank you to President Macron for organizing this meeting in Paris," wrote the President of Ukraine.
The politicians also discussed the situation on the battlefield and the possibility of peace negotiations.
Zelensky noted that the parties want the end of hostilities "as soon as possible" and on fair terms for Ukraine.
