Dmitry Medvedev called the protests taking place in Georgia another "color revolution" attempt

Dmitry Medvedev, the vice-chairman of the Russian Security Council, called the protests in Georgia another attempt at a "color revolution" on his Telegram channel.

"All the prerequisites are there for Georgia to sink into the abyss of civil conflicts again.

In short, the neighbors are quickly moving towards the dark abyss along the Ukrainian path," the politician believes. He stated that currently a part of the Georgian people is destroying the streets, while the other is silent.

Meanwhile, the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, announced that she will not leave because she does not recognize the results of the parliamentary elections. Medvedev called her a "crazy woman" and an "expired president", noting that in the past she would have been punished for such an act.
