Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has expressed confidence that his country will defeat terrorism, regardless of who supports or finances this threat.
Assad announced this during a telephone conversation with the Acting President of Abkhazia, Badra Gumba, writes TASS.
"President Assad emphasized that terrorism does not understand any language except the language of force, and this is the language with the help of which we will break and destroy it, regardless of who are its supporters and sponsors," the head of state noted.
On November 28, it became known that the armed groups of the Syrian opposition launched a major attack against government forces in the western regions of Aleppo province.
