During the ceremony held in the building of the European Council in Brussels, Charles Michel said that the leadership of the European Council was the honor of his life and wished success to the successor in this position.
In his speech, in which Antoniou Costa thanked Charles Michel, he emphasized that his goal as the President of the European Council would be to further preserve the unity of Europe in diversity.
