RA Investigative Committee informed that in 2024 On November 8, regarding the murder of a 17-year-old resident of Nor Kharberd settlement, the criminal proceedings initiated by the Masis investigative department of the Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
As a result of extensive investigative and administrative actions taken during the preliminary investigation, important circumstances related to the case of the young man's bodily injury incompatible with life were revealed. In particular, it was found that on November 8, 2024, between S.P., a resident of Nor Kharberd settlement of Masis community, and another resident of the same settlement, S.S., due to a personal issue related to an electronic message, there were tense relations. to form
In order to get clarifications related to that issue and to punish with the motive of revenge, S.S. recruited his associates and moved them to the area adjacent to the cemetery of the Nor Kharberd settlement of Masis community, where, according to the agreement, they met S.P. and his three friends. including the victim DP.
S.S., together with his friends, in a group, in fact, without explanation, showing disdain for human life, acting together, attacked S.P. and his friends, started hitting them with hands and feet.
During that time, S.S.'s friend A.G., showing more active and aggressive behavior, started hitting the vital vital part of the minor S.P.'s friend D.P. important organs, and group members SS and others continued to hit DP, causing bodily injuries incompatible with life, thus illegally depriving him of his life.
A few days after the incident, a relative of one of the participants in the incident, a resident of Nor Kharberd settlement, submitted a report that a few days after the murder of the 17-year-old young man, late in the evening of November 12, several cars blocked the course of his Mercedes car, which is why he was driving the car in the opposite direction, during which he heard a sound like a shot, and after some time he noticed that there were damage marks on his car.
In addition, a few days after the incident, a report was received from the father of the defendants in the murder proceedings of a 17-year-old youth that in 2024 on the evening of November 11, unknown person(s) tried to set fire to his uninhabited house in Nor Kharberd village, but only the window of the house was burnt.
In connection with the mentioned reports, separate criminal proceedings were initiated, which, in order to ensure an objective and multi-faceted investigation, were joined to the criminal proceedings being investigated in connection with the case of the murder of the young man.
During the preliminary investigation, many investigative and procedural actions were performed: inspections of the scene, clothes, video recordings, investigative operation of person recognition, searches, seizures, interrogations.
As a result of the measures taken together with the officers of the relevant police department, two of the cars related to the aforementioned cases were found and moved to a specially protected area. Measures are being taken to find the others.
The identities of about a dozen people involved in the incident with tragic consequences have been revealed, and their actions have been individualized. Active measures are being taken to find out the identity of the person(s) who apparently set the house on fire and possibly fired a shot at the car.
An order was given to the relevant police department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs to conduct operative-investigative measures.
Decisions on "Applying a protective measure" were made against the accused, as well as witnesses of key importance in the proceedings.
Based on the obtained sufficient facts, a public criminal prosecution was initiated against 5 persons who took part in the incident near the New Kharberd cemetery, according to the decision of the court, detention was applied to them as a preventive measure.
