The official results of the presidential elections have been published in Mexico


Mexico's National Electoral Institute has finished counting the votes of the presidential elections held on June 2. The pro-government coalition "Let's continue to make history together" secured a majority in both houses of the parliament, and also won the governorship elections in 6 states. Clara Brugada, the coalition candidate, won the mayoral elections in Mexico City. The inauguration of the new president of Mexico will take place four months after the elections, on October 1. The new composition of the Mexican Congress will hold its first session a month earlier. These elections were marked by a high level of violence. Dozens of political candidates and applicants were killed by criminal organizations.
