The scope of Azerbaijan's demands against Armenia has been significantly reduced. Yeghishe Kirakosyan

Yeghishe Kirakosyan, representative of international legal affairs, wrote in X in connection with the decision of the International Court of Justice on November 12, 2024:

"1/3 The International Court of Justice has ruled that it has jurisdiction to examine Armenia's applications regarding murders, torture, inhumane treatment, enforced disappearances and arbitrary arrests during and after the 2020-2023 war.

2/3 The IMF is not authorized to discuss Azerbaijan's claims regarding the first Nagorno-Karabakh war until 3/3 1996. The scope of Azerbaijan's claims against Armenia has been significantly reduced."
