A group of hydrologists and engineers from Azerbaijan and Armenia, with the support of the United States, are working together on an integrated water resource management scheme for transboundary rivers in the region.

This was announced by US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mark Libby within the framework of COP29. He noted that Azerbaijan has a significant potential for solar and wind energy and at COP29 shows its leadership in sustainable development and emissions reduction in the hydrocarbon sector.
