Billionaire Elon Musk has become one of the key figures in the formation of the future administration of US President-elect Donald Trump, reports the ABC TV channel, referring to anonymous sources.
According to them, since the last election, Musk has been at the politician's estate in Mar-a-Lago (Florida) almost every day, having a direct influence on personnel decisions and the strategy of Trump's second term. He has already participated in two of Trump's phone calls with foreign leaders, the sources said.
In particular, according to ABC, during the conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump even handed the phone to Musk so that he could personally discuss the situation in Ukraine with the country's leader. Musk also participated in a telephone conversation with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In addition, Musk actively participates in discussions of American domestic politics. On Sunday, he publicly defended Republican Sen. Rick Scott and maintains close ties to Howard Lutnick, who is leading Trump's transition team before the politician officially returns to the White House.
Musk's role was also noticeable in the election campaign. The sources emphasize that Musk is becoming one of the main figures creating the agenda of Trump's second term. His involvement spans both domestic and international issues, making his influence in the administration particularly significant.
