The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium Alexander De Croix within the framework of COP29. At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on regional issues and the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The leader of Azerbaijan emphasized that as a result of the active negotiations of the last year, serious progress has been made, including in the issue of border demarcation. He again referred to the Constitution of Armenia, noting that "the existing territorial claims against Azerbaijan" continue to be an obstacle to the signing of the peace treaty, and the Constitution must be changed.
