The regional council of Meghri of KP presented three candidates to the "City Contract" department, one of them is Mkhitar Zakaryan, the other two are the current deputy mayor Artur Grigoryan and businessman Sergo Galstyan. Let us remind you, Mkhitar Zakaryan was one of the authors of the famous "pillar greetings" and made a harsh remark to Anna Hakobyan, then publicly apologized, after which he left the political field and returned to the business field.
After several years of silence, he has created "chocolate relations" with the government circles of Meghri and, they say, he is even operating a new mine and, according to that, he is aspiring to become the mayor again. We wrote that the KP administration chooses the candidates presented by the territorial councils, who must participate in the local government elections as candidates for the mayors and the government members of the council of elders. First, the CP members of the seats conduct a preliminary casting, make a list and present it to the department, then the party elite makes the final selection. We were informed by the territorial council that the candidacy of Mkhitar Zakaryan was also presented. Later we learned that Pashinyan immediately rejected his candidacy and even scolded the party members for including Mkhitar Zakaryan's candidacy in the list.
Moreover, our sources informed that Pashinyan learned from the article of "Hraparak" that the structure of CP Meghri nominated Zakaryan, and he got angry with Meghri's structure. In the CP, they say that they forgave Arushi, but they are not going to forgive Mkhitar Zakaryan, let alone give him a position. As if Arush Arushanyan's stuff is different. The party elite of the CP of Syunik thought that if Arushi can be allowed, then Mkho can also be allowed, and they decided to apply the Goris model to form an alliance with an authoritative person, thanks to which it will be possible to win these elections, especially after the arrest of the community head Khachatur Andreasyan. It didn't work.
Now they have decided to form a similar alliance with businessman Sergo Galstyan, who represents the same "Business" party. The first number on the list will be the non-partisan Sergo Galstyan, then one from the CP will follow, and so in equal proportion. The list consists of 45 people, and as for Mkhitar Zakaryan, it was decided that he will work for KP. According to our source, businessman Galstyan is a respected person in Meghri, but not as much as Arush in Goris, so everyone should work hard for KP to win in Meghri. By the way, during the last discussions, when Armen Khachatryan, the head of the CP structure of Goris, told Pashinyan that we will do everything for Arush to win, Pashinyan sneered that you should not bring Arush's victory onto you, Arush will win with its own resources. By the way, we wrote on August 29 that Sergo Galstyan, the head of the procurement department who was fired two years ago from ZPMK and was accused of some kind of financial fraud, will also submit an application to participate in the local government elections.
He opens his own party called "Crossroads of Peace". He wrote us a letter on August 30, mainly confirming the information about his nomination and stating:

"Business" will be the side of the alliance with CP in Meghri.
