The head of the IAEA will meet with representatives of the country's government in Iran

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), will visit Tehran, where he will have high-level meetings with representatives of the Iranian government.

According to "Armenpress", this was mentioned in the message published on the official website of the AEMG.

"It is important that we make significant progress in implementing the joint statement agreed with Iran in March 2023.

My visit to Tehran will be very important in that respect," said Grossi. We are talking about the cooperation measures, which are intended for the assistance of the IAEA in confirming the peaceful nature of the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the joint statement, Iran will voluntarily allow the IAEA to carry out further appropriate inspection and monitoring activities.
