The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaia Kalas has stated that Russia continues to escalate attacks against the civilian population of Ukraine.
According to her, July and August were the bloodiest months since the start of the war. At the same time, Kalas noted that the Ukrainians continue to resist, and the international community must stand by them. According to Kalas, the priority for Ukraine remains air defense.
She noted that some countries have air defense interceptor missiles, the service life of which will soon expire. The EU High Representative called for the transfer of these missiles to Ukraine, emphasizing that their use can help protect the lives of Ukrainians.
