On the night of August 28, a Ukrainian drone hit a five-story residential building in the annexed city of Sevastopol, city governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said. According to him, the blast wave shattered glass and window frames throughout the building, damaged balconies, and damaged furniture and walls in many apartments. A fire broke out on the fifth floor. Four people were injured as a result. Doctors hospitalized an elderly woman with a closed head injury and a man with cuts on his back from shrapnel.
