The “Fact” daily writes:
Recently, information was circulated in the media that Nikol Pashinyan has decided to recall Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation Gurgen Arsenyan. Our sources claim that there are currently several candidates for the position of ambassador, but the most likely candidate is considered to be Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan.
Well, at least Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan is more inclined to “send” him to Russia. The thing is that Safaryan, among other directions, actually coordinates the direction of the Eurasian region (Russia, other CIS countries). They say that he has normal relations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and other high-ranking representatives of the Russian political and diplomatic field. On the other hand, it is noteworthy that one of his “directions” is multilateral diplomacy. Recently, he has just presented Armenia in the “Multilateral Paths. "Restoring Order in a Weakening Multilateral System" and the Dubrovnik Forum's "Between Power Centers: Lessons from Multi-Vector Diplomacy" panel discussion.
In addition, according to our information, Ararat Mirzoyan has a new candidate for Deputy Foreign Minister, whose name, however, our source has not yet mentioned.
